Hopefully the correct place to ask...
My other half was knocked off her bike yesterday by another cyclist who came out of a side lane into her path. End result 4 broken ribs, broken collar bone and a chipped vertebrae. No idea on state of bike yet, which is a Specialized Tarmac SL6.
She is now laid up, at least 6 weeks before being able to get back on bike again according to medics. And will be off work, half of which is on a supply basis so no work no pay.
Anybody been through similar? What to do next? Not normally one for claims etc, but this is likely to be an expensive experience due to somebody not paying attention to what they were doing.
