Right- got an 02 ford focus (1.6 zetec) and getting a knocking noise from the rear of the car when turning hard or fully loaded.

Am I right in assuming its the rear anti roll bar bushings that are shot? If so anyone got an idea of how much £ i'm looking at to sort it? Cheers.

It could be any number of bits, ARB bushes would clunk over bumps as well.

Check for play in the wheel bearing and try and look at the state of the rear wishbone bushes (On a side note, make sure the wheel nuts are done up tightly)

Could be one of a thousand things without looking closer

quick inspection (with the car on the ground tonight as I cba'd lifting it) the suspension *seems* ok...

Rear off side wheel bearing dust cover has a couple of hammer marks in it though. Would this make a noise like that? Gonna check it for play at the weekend.
