knocking noise

hey all, yes me again with more probs with the saxo. theres a knocking noise coming from the nearside wheel area. reason i say wheel area is because its only when i take a bend at high speeds or drive full lock anti-clockwise

what could it be? suspension? drive shaft? cv joint?

im thinking cv joint, its a similar noise to what it was when the boot was loose but its now a more defined solid knocking.

Balljoint? Cv joint?. Try having a peek behind the wheel and see if theres any CV Grease on the inside of the wheel or on the outside of the boot. If there is a split in the boot i suggest you get it to a garage pretty quickly cos if a stone or loads of grit and carp on the road get in the joint it could seize up an throw you off the road.

boots where replaced before MOT appx 3 months ago, cant see it being a loose boot, unless the guy who done the boots never greased the joints.

boots look fine, on full lock they stay in place so its not lack of grease, that is, unless the mech who done the work didnt bother to grease the cv's, therefore, v little/none at all!

took er out for a run today and didnt notice any noises but ill keep on top of it anyway
