Just bought a Nissan Primera SI, 1.6 1998, What are usually the things i need to look out on these kinda cars.

Not a great deal, CV joints seem to go fairly often. Keep an eye on the rear of the sills for rust. Generally very reliable cars.

cheers guys. I'm also looking to tune it, I feel i dont get enough pick when i push down the accelerator, How would i go about making it more nippy?

i think the primera 1.6 has a GA16 engine?

If it does there's not a great deal of internal tuning parts but you can get manifolds, filters/induction kits, exhausts and all the standard tuning stuff for them.

As has been said before they're generally very reliable apart from rust and a few wee common faults. Get yourself on NPOC, loads of info and knowledge on there.

yeah ive got a 1.6 p10 at the moment. They aint quick lol and never will be tbh. Id concentrate on other things mate. :)

Just remembered, rear calipers do seem to seize, although thats maybe down to the age of them now.
