just wondering if any1 knows what this is?

1|receive the KOD packet Tue, 12/12/2006 00:37:39

noticed it in my netgear router logs, tried a google search for it and it came up with KOD = kiss of death, basicaly a packet that trys to get the destination to stop sending packets to you or something (ie, if some1 is sending you loads of packets, a kod packet can be sent to try stop that). is that right?

if i recieved it, that would surely mean some1 is trying to stop packets that im sending? not sure how that would happen since only 1 pc was on at the time and it was idle with only IRC running (although my router is bugged atm and the upnp page still thinks my pc is using a bit torrent port that i stoped using ages ago).

EDIT: i know none of this is proberly anything to be worried about, but im a paranoid person, and seeing strange things on my router logs (which are a bit pathetic since my netgear router is rubish when it comes to logs) makes me question why them strange things are there.
