Kone + Double clicking issue.

I bought my kone + less that a month ago I believe and i'm just started noticing that the right click is a little funny. I noticed in bf3 sometimes it would stop scoping then go back into it very quickly but I always assumed it was my finger slipping.

But anyway, my friend begged me to go on Minecraft and when placing blocks (right click) I noticed that every so often it would double click and place two blocks. Now was just wondering what you guys think I should do. It's kind annoying. Should I return or do you now a way to fix it etc?

Excellent, make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware and if the problem persists, speak to Tech Support on the phone. They will most likely ask you to return it. If they ask you to return it to Roccat, you're in for an entertaining week of sending emails back and forth. Roccat's customer service is pathetic.

they shouldn't tell you to speak to ROCCAT, as they sold it too you. LOL they should replace and then they should get in contact with ROCCAT.

I sent them a email as I will be out tomorrow and have no power in house because it's being worked on, so hopefully they should respond by the time I get to college =D

and I do have the latest drivers for kone + but what do you mean by firmware?
 
I just checked on the website and they don't have any firmware updates so don't worry about that.

aye, mayby if it was out of warranty.

i was goin to buy one but the problem with the scroll whell put me off.

didnt even know about this problem.

Edit: Just looked it up, I've had that a few times. Dam my buggy purchase LOL!

i dont know what ur options are with ocuk. but if u can return it, go for something like logitech g700 etc. good mice and solid customer service.

Does that g700 only come in wireless. I actually really like it LOL. But not too keen on wireless... :/
 
the g500 or even the g9x would be the closest one to a wired g700.

after reading up on roccat i decided to avoid them all together and go for logitech. if i were u yes i would swap it for the ones above.

Hi, i have a kone(+) and had problems similar to you, after googling it does seem to be a widespread problem which i had hoped would have been fixed with the newer versions.

I'd click once on a folder in windows and the folder would open up, this drove me crazy as i swore i only clicked once.

There is a simple fix (if u decide to keep your mouse) which doesnt involve literally opening it up! All u have to do is give it a few taps on its base (where your palm would rest) do this a couple of times and it should fix it!

No more double click problems for me and if anyone has a similar problem to this then i would definatly advice doing the above, its simples :)

I'll try this when I get on PC later, I'll edit this on wither it worked for me or not.
