kone got pushed back?

Yeah, it wasn't advertised, just added to the page, I only noticed as the date said 6/10, thought they must be the new ones.

what is "neg acceleration" tetsu? I ask because i havent noticed it myself so haven;t heard/looked fo rinfo about it

It means the mouse losses tracking at a certain speed. The lower your mouse sensitivity the more you noticed it. Most "pro" gamer use a low mouse sensitivity for better accuracy this means you have to move your mouse further and quicker. Say if you move your mouse slowly from one side of your mouse mat to the other and you do a 360 in game then you do it really fast and you only do a 180 that's bad neg accel.

All this is void though if you leave enhanced pointer precision (aka mouse acceleration) on.

Every laser mouse thus far has had large amounts of negative acceleration, Which is the reason optical is still the choice of the payed gamer. I very much doubt this mouse is different and judging by its design its probably all talk and no trousers. But i'd love for that not to be the case as the shape looks good.

Wouldn't this just be the fact that early revisions of laser mice couldn't track at certain dpi's when you move it too quickly? I thought the newer revisions of the laser got rid of this? I noticed it only in ETQW really as if i had my dpi set to 2k (have low sense in game) if someone got behind me I'd then try to run around and shoot them, the problem is on my g5 rev 1 this would not track at the speed id react and would only just stay still, leaving facing in the wrong way lol. My g5 rev 2 however does not have this problem, I allways play with mouse acceraltion off.

Is it better than the Razer Lachesis?

only have a copperhead and g5 to go on mate.

MUCH better than the g5, for me anyway. g5 was too, clunky, a whole hand filler. It used to pain my wrist after a css match :/

I can use the kone with my finger tips (its so light even with the 20g weight in), much more like my copperhead that died. Same rubbery ish surface too like the razer.

The lights are a bit odd, I'd preffer a slow pulse, but it kind of flicks between states rather than fades, i'll contact roccat about that.

Atm I'm loving it :)

What did you think of the funky packaging?

very funky. From the pics on the website that have been around for ages I was expecting a plastic to be used, not polystyreeeeen. Its still nice though!

Cant get the rocateer card to register me also :/

THe case file is a bit, odd to say the least.

aye, takes a damn good press for it to click. However im liking it, saves me from accidently clicking if i put a bit of pressure on, can see it helping in css :P

Doesn't help in Operation Flashpoint :)

So what light settings people have? I made it red/yellow/green/blue/blue.

And I put the 20g weight in, I like em a bit hevy :)

just got blue lights atm, want it to fade properly but its too, abrupt.

20g here too, doesnt make it at all too heavy though imo, its perfect.

hmm, do blinking and pulsating do, anything different? :/

No its with all laser mice. They have of course shown improvements over the years but dont get close to the performance of optical regardless of marketing hype. I'd like to believe this mouse is different but I very much doubt it, hope i'm wrong though.
