Any one have the Kooks album? The latest one?

If so, is it any good, as i think im going to buy it....

They are not to my taste personally, but ive only heard one or two of their songs.

ive only just got their album and i'm quite impressed really.

the girlfriend has been saying how good they are for a while, so naturally, i didnt want to listen to it lol

but i gave them a shot and its a good album

naive and you dont love me are great tracks

My girlfriend has been trying to force feed me this album for a while now... She swears by it at the moment. From what I've heard it's pretty good - Certainly worth a listen

Far, far better than that overrated Arctic Monkeys tripe!

Personally, I love it. Yes, it's very typical of the time, and yes, it's nothing ground breaking, but I know that it's not gonna leave my stereo through the summer.

I got the Kooks' album yesterday along with some other stuff. Just listening to it now. I do quite like it. I especially liked "You Don't Love Me".

Naive is about the only decent song on there. "You don't love me" is annoyingly childish. Infact the whole album is very childish imo. Childish "pop/indie/rock".

I wouldn't buy it

I really like the album, it's quite varied unlike other bands who just seem to have one song they regurgitate over and over *cough*hard-fi*cough*.

Seaside is a quality tune.

Quality album... I didn't think anything could surpass the playtime that Artic Monkeys got in my car - but I can't take this outta the cd player!.. hell people are getting annoyed that I've got it on so much lol, cracking songs.

How loud do people play it??? most people at uni reckon it's not a loud album, personally I have it on full whack

Is this one of those albums that needs playing through a few times? Not liking it so far tbh, not had it long so I will give it a chance.
