With my recent bad luck with D5's ( 2 failed inside a week ) I went for the PMP 500 from Koolance, and my god what a sexy looking pump, it is a bit louder than a D5 but from reviews and various tests it comes up better than a D5 in some and level in others. With the only negative ever mentioned is the noise from memory it is about 2 decibles louder than a D5.
My question is pump speed control, it has a Tacho cable, so can I connect the tacho, to my Aquaero 5 LT and be able to control pump speed via the software ? If not is there any other way to control it. In my very limited time in watercooling I have always used a variable D5
