After reading toms hardware, came across this:

looks like a kotor 2 beta with restored content as well as bug fixes and stuff.

oooooo! i'm glad i never got round to playing this before. Now i can try it with all settings maxed out!

So how did they do it? Are they part of the original team that worked on the title? Or have they somehow found the content passed on to them.

I believe a lot of the content was left in the Xbox 1 version of the game.

Pretty much. KOTOR2 was buggy enough without installing a beta mod

For a long time yes. Quite a few people believed that it was actually canned.

Kotor2 wasn't buggy for me, but I did do stuff to hax it. Like using a saved game edittor the second time I played through to make my female character be able to recruit hand maiden because I hated the other guy.

TSL Restored Content Mod was started way after Team Gizka did anything. It also has several people working on it, including Darth Stoney (author of the M4-78 mod among others).

I found it in the end, was in the kotor1 case lol. guess last time i played them it was together

I installed the mod - just haven't tried it yet.

Will give it a good shot tomorrow, am quite looking forward to it.
