KOTOR 2 wide screen modes?

Hey,

I have just tried installing KOTOR 2, but it won't let me run in widescreen mode I have tried manually altering the .ini file to 1680x1050 but it don't seem to want to play ball and resets to a measly 800x600

Anyone have any suggestions to get it running in a nice widescreen res?

For a patch, but I don't see KOTOR2 listed at all?

OMG THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS.

It wont let me apply the ingame res of 1280x960 that it apparently needs to run the widescreen mode.

The game is basically unplayable at the moment for me because at 1280x1024 the characters look almost square, does anyone have any ideas?

Have you patched your game to the latest version? I patched it to version 1.02b
Did you download the UNIWS File? - http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/downloads/uniws.zip

Run it, in the drop down choose Star wars Knights of the Old Republic - Sith Lords

Then browse for your swkotor2.exe.

In the Screen Width enter your custom resolution - 1680 X 1050

Then click Patch.

Now goto the folder where u can find - swkotor2.ini
Open it using Wordpad or Notepad.

You need to modify the Height and Width of 2 Sections, the sections being:

[Display Options]
[Graphics Options]

When you have edited them, save the file and boot up your game. This is how I did it using this method and it works a charm.
