KOTOR crashing to desktop?!??!

Hey guys,
A few days ago, I installed KOTOR, and I played it fine. Now whenever I open it, it loads up alol the lucasarts logos etc. then when it gets to the main menu, it just crashes. It closes the program down. It was working all fine since yesterday :confused:

Has this every happened to anyone?

patched I assume?

What res you running? I think it's editable in the ini's

Like I said, it was running flawlessy before, should I try re installing it

That would be the best bet imo

backup save games

Uninstall
Delete leftovers
Clear out registry (if needed)
Re-Install
Patch
Play for a bit
Put savegames back if it's working ok
