What's the RG556 like? I keep seeing ads for the R36S, but I've read terrible reviews about reliability and quality, so wondered if a different price point might be better.

Can't complain for what I paid for it. Great screen and very comfortable to use, slightly down on power compared to the Retroid Pocket 4pro/5, but does everything that I wanted.

Or if you wanted something cheaper the Batlexp G350 is meant to be the new budget king

R36S is actually a lovely little hand held for the price, if you can over look its clicky buttons. I have a retroid pocket 5 and I honestly pick up the r36s more when I'm chilling in bed.
