Oops, meant to mention these are meals for both me and my gf. It also includes any deals we stocked up on, in this case enough chocolate for the rest of the month and some frozen prawns and fishfingers that were on offer.

Yes, it's purpose isn't really evident, but then the majority of stuff online is pointless :p

It's completely pointless if you don't itemise the bill, at least to some degree. You say the shop includes toiletries and when you bulk buy stuff, so if the shop's £70, but that includes £20 worth of toiletries, why not just say "£50 worth of food"? :\. You could further break it down to £x on meat, etc... that's not hard, and makes it far better.

Yeah, will do that moving forward, didn't initially as I didn't keep my receipt and just knew what we spent in total.

I'll go a bit more granular from next week.

How on earth do you spend 50 quid for a weeks food when 3 of the meals are leftovers and 2 whole days away? Do you bathe in steak or something?

It's for 2 people :p

Breakfast is porridge that I bulk buy dirt cheap and make at work.

Also, my spend amount isn't solely for use that week, I will also stock-pile any deals in the freezer. As an example, the sausage casserole will be made with sausages I bought a few weeks ago that were BOGOF. And BBQ ribs that were on offer this week are now in the freezer for future use.
