Kraken X41 fan issues

Finally installed an AIO in my pc yesterday.
However since then the cam software has been a slight thorn in my side,
so far I have been unable to change the fan speed what so ever on my corsair af140 that I've attached to it. Has anybody else had a similar issue?

Is that AF140 a PWM fan or not?

yeah just realised that's the issue myself, was use to being able to control the fans very well from my motherboard, it's just not the case with the kraken.

Are you using two fans? The original and your Corsair in push/pull? If so and you have the PWM plugged into the extension that comes on the cable spouting from the water block, remove it! The software doesn't work this way.

no was sitting with just the corsair on it, mainly because I've used it for about a year at this point and found the noise/air flow to be pretty good, have now started using the included fan as the software will control that.
