Kraken X61 with Ryzen 5 3600?

Hi, I’m currently using my X61 with my i5-2500K @ 4.5. I don’t use CAM, I believe I just changed the LED colour and then uninstalled it, so fans and pump are running on default settings I guess.

Just wanting to know:

1. Should it work ok with a Ryzen 5 3600 once I have the AM4 bracket?
   
   
2. Would I likely be able to OC the CPU (nothing too wild) and keep reasonable temps without CAM?
   
   
3. I’ve heard CAM has issues with temp readings. Is that an issue if I use realtemp?

I installed CAM to see if it was really as bad as everyone says and literally got a BSOD as soon as a clicked “log in”. So yeah... I’m all for using the cooler without CAM if possible.

PS. I had a Noctua cooler years ago but it’s too big for the case I have now and I hated how it obstructed the motherboard. So I’d prefer to stick to the x61 if possible.

should be able to use motherboard headers to control fan speed in bios. How is the pump controlled? Fan header or sata

It's powered by SATA and controlled by the X61. It has a USB connection.

Probably pump will be at full speed all the time if you can’t plug the pump into a fan header.
