Installed today over an old noctua that failed on me. Had over 95c in BF1 but now im getting temps of 49-50 on high settings with a 4.7 overclock. My question is, my HWmonitor and Cam are both reading these temps but they seem so low. Could they be reporting false temps?

What voltage is your Vcore reaching at peak?

What settings is your cooler running i.e. are your fans aggressive/ on full?

4.7 is stock maximum boost speed, are you running 4.7GHz all cores?

How long did you run it for? Liquid cooling is going to take a while to heat up all the mass to a stable temp.

I’d say you are ok , I run the same with 4.7 on all cores and see anywhere from 50s to 60s on the cpu game dependant. Not seen anything to give me any concern.

I know it's not a like for like comparison but I've got the x62 on my threadripper cpu overclocked to 4ghz (which is about as high as the cpu goes ) and the temperatures are about the same as your cpu. It's a very good cooler.
