Hi,

The cooler installed fine, works fine, but I have put the hoses at the top of the rad.

I was intending on flipping it this evening, however, the 3080 extends pretty far back in the case at the moment with the stock air cooler still on it and I'm not sure the tubing will reach. A 360mm in the Define 7 goes right to the very bottom front of the case. If it's not going to reach, it saves me taking out 12 screws and 3 fans + cables again.

Has anyone tried fitting a FRONT CPU 360mm rad with the hoses at the bottom? I imagine some might reach, anyone with a Kraken and this case around?

Thanks.

EDIT: Currently the CPU has a 360mm X73, the 3080 is air cooled. I have an alpha-cool Ieswolf for the 3080, but not going to fit it for a few weeks to learn the card's thermal properties without it first. So that 360mm rad is intended to go at the top, as exhaust with the x73 360mm rad being intake at the front. I then have the basement for 2 intake fans and the rear exhaust for VRM cooling. That's the plan.

I never had an X73, but I used to have a 360 AIO on my GPU that I front mounted with the hoses at the bottom, then the Arctic 360 AIO as exhaust on the top. That sounds like what you're going for, and it should be good :)

I flipped it over during the week. Even without the GPU installed it won't reach the lower, default mounting area on the Define 7. It's about 1cm short on tube length. You "can" and I "did" get it to fit at the top of the front panel mount, it just doesn't align with all the screw holes, but enough of them. Negates the 5.25" bay at the top if you thought of using that.
