Krav Maga - Leeds

Hello, just following up from the last thread on Krav Maga (read about it here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17540362&highlight=krav+maga ) I've been hunting round for somewhere that does it near me (Leeds) as it's still not that common in this country it seems, well, I've found somewhere that's going to start doing it.

Leeds Met Student Union, from Moday 3rd April at 8:30pm - I've enquired and it's apparently for anyone.

Loads of people seemed really keen before, so if anyone's game, I'll be going

is that the su up at becketts park or the city centre one?

Hmm that sound interesting, I would have thought it would be becketts park as they do a lot of that sort of thing in the big sports halls.

aah excellent, my campus! might go, although i havent even been into uni to even attend lessons and lectures for the past 2 weeks so it looks somewhat unlikely

Just a little bit of info for some people, Eyal Yanilov the highest graded instructor in the world is coming to the UK at the end of the month. He is doing a 4 hour session, one in London and one in Glasgow, you don’t need any previous experience and it costs either £25 if you book online or £30 on the day.

It will give you a good taster of what to expect if you are thinking of going on to do a full course and not only that you will come away with having learned something too. I will be at the Glasgow session!

I have to say, I'm very tempted to sign up for a Krav Maga course at some point, looks like a fantastic fighting system
