Eveyone remember the above? :D, thinking back seeing it when i was between 6-8 cant remember honestly i had nightmares for months and im sure it grew hairs on my chest.

Certificate PG on release, now anything remotley close violance wise would be 18+ with parental supervision.

Great film though certainly had the fantasy feel of a movie :) certainly dont make them like they used to.

Personally films like this i feel don't harm a child, children arnt stupid and shouldnt be treated like such for example teletubbies.

Krull was brilliant. Harmless fantasy imo, though I guess it depends on the age and sensitivity of the viewer.

Remember the original Beastmaster movie? That had some pretty freaky stuff going on.

Krull and Willow were two 'family' adventure films that creeped me out as a kid. Have seen them both as an adult and they still knock the socks off a lot of modern stuff.

I remember going to cinema to see this as a child , great movie, tho special effects are a bit dated by todays standards

This and legend scared the crap out of me as a kid.

There was a movie with a kid in set in the outback i think and there was this little blue spirit or ghost, a kangaroo as well if i remember rightly. Any way whatever movie it was scare the **** out of me and i had tried watching it a few times, every single time i burst into tears haha.

Ha I saw some of Krull as a child, but never knew the name and only had vague memories of a dark film where the fortress was a thing that could move its location, etc..

Then only last year or so I was watching some corny film on ScyFy Hd or something and it turned out to be KRULL.

This thread made me want to watch it again :) Currently an hour and a half in and loving it!
It's been too long.

Ed: All done. Great stuff.
Terrible by today's standards (and probably those of it's day tbh), but nostalgia's a powerful thing and I can forgive it of everything :)

Gonna watch Beastmaster tomorrow.

Awesome film! I remember watching this when I was 13 and how sad I was when the cyclops meets his end. Oh and how the spinning blade thingy gets stuck in the baddie, i felt gutted for Colwyn.

Legend is such an awesome film with a great musical score to go with it too. Tim Curry as the evil dude was fantastic casting. Tom Cruise had bad teeth back then :p
