OcUK recommend a quality brand PSU for use with all our bundles such as the Corsair TX & HX range. Updating the BIOS on the overclocked bundle range will void the warranty on the overclock. If you update the BIOS we will no longer be able to provide support for configuring and maintaining the CPU overclock.

*Please allow between 24 and 48 hours for your system to be built and configured. This may take longer during busier periods.

Ok, I havent gone and added them all up from the shop site but do you know roughly how much you save?

Hmmm, the price for all those bits is; £381.95 inc VAT.

If thats the case, it could be an i7 bundle?

EDIT;

The price with an i7 is; £447.95 inc VAT.

If it is in fact an i7 bundle, you are saving and it would come pre-clocked!

Correct. Also you get 1 Year Onsite support & collection with a hassle free OC'ed bundle. The CPU is an i5 2500K just to clarify.

In that case, its still a great deal.

Id be more than happy to pay that fee to receive kit pre-overclocked. The peace of mind knowing it is done correctly is worth it alone. Onsite support is just the icing on the cake!

;)

Might be worth correcting the op nath! £54 charge is a bit  though

Id pay it.

I know these modern boards are making it easier for your everyday user to OC their rig but you are still one setting change away from an unstable clock or doing some damage.

I think its a good service to offer on bundles.

it has a one year collect and return warranty service. as well as the initial overclocking tests and free electronic technical support.

hence the premium. obviously people who can clock themselves would just buy the bits.

each bundle is stress tested for a minimum of 8 hours to ensure stability, this is around the same length of time that an item from our full system range is tested for. this is part of the reason that there is a premium

Just a suggestion.

Would it be worth stating the OC fee and what you do to justify this in the bundles page. Im just thinking, some people may get confused as to why it is that little bit more expensive than buying the parts individually.

Maybe have a section saying "Why buy our overclocked bundles" "because we stress tested for a minimum of 8 hours to ensure stability" Etc.

If im talking nonsense, just ignore :).

So if you take the 8GB option when buying from OcUK, will that result in "the maximum clock speed attainable may be significantly reduced", or does that only relate to if you put in your own extra memory. I may be being thick here...

could have inluded 8gb(2x4gb) at this price.

as far as I'm aware amount of ram doesn't effect the oc.
