Krypton 930 oc bundle 4ghz stable bios setting
Krypton Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz Overclocked Bundle..
The settings that were installed in my bios when I received the bundle had the Vcore set at 1.3v.. Which caused all my 4 cores to hit 100c when cooled by the Noctua Nh-U12p Air cooling Hsf.
After numberous attempts to cool my cpu down, including many reseats of the Hsf with different high quality pastes, I realised that the hsf along with the Noctua bundled fans, just isn't up for the job to keep the system running cool while clocked at such a high voltage. After looking around different forums to find a more suitable profile to try I did a bit of testing and have found a alternative profile to that Ocuk offers.
With the Ocuk profile - cores hit average 100c within 1 minute of running LinX and prime95. - Not so good in the long run.. Maximum airflow, (case sides off), Room temp 20c.
With the following profile - maximum 87c per core.. Which is more acceptable.. I'm aware that all chips vary from one to another in how they perform, but for people who have seen temps that i've witnessed, using the same kit, give the following bios profile a shot to see if it helps your temps.

Save the file to a usb stick.. Load the Bios, press F12, and choose the bottom option.
