Purchased one of the krypton oc'd bundles from overclockers the other day,
i7950, usb3 board, 6gb ram oc'd to 4ghz.

Built lots of systems on booting for first time the bios shut down and rebooted stating overclock couldnt be sustained. It came in at 3.1ghz and loaded windows etc np and is stable.

Was a bit surprised as the build like i say was solid and my previous qx6850 chip which run hotter was stable at 3.75ghz easily.

CPU temps at idle are 30c so know that my cooling is ample.

When buying these bundles are they actually tested or is it a universal "setting that is quickly applied into the bios "knowing it works" from a master test bench. As delivery from point of order to dispatch was rapid.

Just grumbling a bit as the support phonenumber has been pretty much engaged all day from 10am. Does anyone else have any reports on how the support is here. I was pretty lazy buying this bundle with the amount of info avail online to clock yourself and do not want to play with the settings myself as i do not want to void the warranty.

These are apparently tested for a few hours for stability in warm room to ensure stability.

Boot into the BIOS and press F12, this should bring up a list of ocuk profiles.
