Guys,

Advise please.

Due to judder problems with the KS7000, RS have offered to replace the TV (provided a video of the motion problems and they confirmed that it's not right after troubleshooting). As they have no KS7000's in stock, they have advised that I can replace it with any TV.

What would you guys do, bite the bullet and go OLED? Would only pay the difference between the two, around 600 notes.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks for your replies guys. I don't know why I'm having a problem making my mind up with this - should be a no brainier right?

Since my last post LG have released a firmware update taking input lag in all GAME modes Inc HDR down to 28ms so it's a complete no brainer now.

UK firmware not currently available but it'll be with us soon.

I've had the KS7000, KS8000 and now the OLED 55B6 in the space of a week. The KS7000 had a damaged screen so I can't compare that. The KS8000 had a gap between the panel and the bezel letting the backlight through but I thought the picture was great, until I swapped it for the OLED. It's so much better and now I'm glad I got a faulty KS8000.

You won't regret it.

Well, having problems with RS. Just called their CS who have now told me to call Samsung Direct. Odd as I have a mail from the web after sales team advising that I can swap out the TV.

So, just called my local store. They have reserved a 55B6 but need confirmation from Central CS that they can swap out the KS7000.

Watch this space.

Yes, after taking the KS7000 in to RS and showing them the back coming off and the judder.

They reduce the B6 down a little as goodwill to.

Is judder inherent to this screen or just your panel? My KS7000 55" arrived today and will check when I get home, but seeing that is not filling me with confidence!

Lots on the Net (avforums). Thought mine was okay ish - as in, I'd live with it. But, the back started coming off it, which is very common. I did not want to swap it as the blacks where good and not back light bleed. But it started to fall apart.

You may be okay though.

How did you get on? The back on mine was fine for two weeks before it started to peel.

Its bloody stunning panel, I will confess do not watch to much anyways, 2 or so hours a week if that when I watch a move so not an expert as such on TVs, but love it so far :D Back panel seems okay and touch wood stays that way. Will give it a few weeks and hopefully stays that way.
