Ksp and windows 10

[Brutal biff]

I've upgraded to win 10 from win 8.1 but since reinstalling ksp my laptop will get to 3 quarters the way through loading screen and then the laptop will just shut itself down this only happens with ksp

Any help with this would be highly appreciated

Yes kerbal space programme mate it just completely shuts the laptop down works fine on windows 8
