Never played this on PS1, but I just looked up a gameplay video on youtube. Just looks like a poor man's Archer McLean's Mercury on PSP (even though Mercury came out like 5 years later). Are the "puzzles" challenging?

Now you mention it, I think it came on the second PS1 demo cd, and it didn't impress me then either. Good memory!!
