I bought this today from HMV on DVD. Thought, "why not!"

One word: Class!

What a movie and a half. It's so genious! I don't know why I didn't see this earlier!

Financial times - 5*s
Empire - 5*s
Uncut - 5*s

Go an watch this movie! It's a must!

I really enjoyed it. It's funny and has some very well thought out action sequences. Not much else you need from that really.

I did have this on my rental list tho as I was bored most of the way through Shoalin Soccer I decided not to bother. May well add it again now if enough people say it's decent.

Wedgie22, if you like slap stick, martial arts movies, comedy and Looney Toons cartoons, then Kung Fu Hustle wont disappoint.

Awesome film, totally over the top and stupid but all the better for that. Look out for the camp tailor who was a star in 1980s kung fu films.

I love this movie.Watched it about a year ago in the cinema with my mates,whilst I found it hilarious all my mates found it boring. :confused:

It manages to send up Kung Fu films and pay tribute to them at the same time which is a difficult balance to strike.
The whole knife throwing scene had me in stitches, while the bit with the stringed instrument being used as a weapon was almost hypnotic.

At first I was very :confused:

But after a half hour or so I started giggling, then guffawing... its a superbly well done film!
