All consoles are computers, but people percieve consoles as being ONLY a games machine. The PS3 isn't ONLY a games machine, hence the desire to label it as a computer rather than simply a console. It can also be a media hub for the whole house, stream music/video content from your home network over the www to your PSP so in a sense he's right. I don't think anyone is suggesting that we'll all be typing up our word documents on a PS3 in a few years time.

A digital watch could be called a computer, the label if far too generic.

Anyway unless you only buy Sony products, you should'nt get offended by this statement. But i will change the wording anyway.
