KVM Switch to use with USB Wireless K/board and mouse

Just need some advice

I'm about to purchase a Belkin USB DVI 2 port switch, http://www.belkin.com/uk/switch2/

However i'm using a Logitech Wireless keyboard/mice combo. Just wondering if i plug in my wireless reciever onto the USB KVM Switch, will it still work?

I would think that it won't work. It probably won't supply enough power for the wireless receiver.

I have an illuminated keyboard and had to purchase a powered ATEN KVM to enable the illumination to work. An unpowered ATEN KVM would not power the illumination in the keyboard, although the keyboard itself worked.

my mx1000 works with my belkin KVM but my keyboard is wired.

My MX 700 works with my KVM, but it does have a separate mains lead, although I think thats only for charging, I think you'd be ok

But then again this KVM would draw power from the PCs each as its PS2 would be USB....

If anybody has one of these I would like to know too as I will be buying the wireless one shortly.

Does it work with 1 Wireless receiver?

Right i've placed an order, should get here by the end of the week, if not early next.

I've taken the plunge about this purchase and dont know fully if the wireless recevier is going to work or not.
