going a bit slow tbh. Don't think I'll be able to play it tonight as I'm drinking and will probably crash out before it's done.

Going 600-800kb/sec when I normally max torrents at 1.6-1.7mb/sec :(

So much for a drunken "must purchase and play now"
 
I enjoyed L4D playing the beta online. But I had a lot of poor games with idiots just d**king around.

Mind that reminds me of those annoying gits in BF2142 that would stand by the vehicles in the main base throwing (an endless supply of) EMP grenades at them... :mad:

Really tempted to try it again if there is an OcUK group!! :cool:

The best feature by far is VS mode and the ability to play on OcUK servers with a fairly large and differing skill ranged community. I really have had some awesome times with this game and met some cool people along the way! This is the thing that keeps me comming back time and time again :D

Had a great game earlier; me, hippos, uzi found some randoms in a lobby who knew eachother and wanted a game. We got in Harrier who was looking for some action and had a really decent time.

We did hand out the pwn a fair bit (6k against 2k). Although credit to these lads, they stayed to the end, didn't whine and were thoroughly pleasant throughout. Nice to be supprised in the online gaming community from time to time :)

I've added them as friends as they are UK fellas and hopefully try and rope them into some OcUK shenanigans at some point ;)
 
I picked this up for £14.64 in Head (formally Zavvi) at Bluewater, in fact I got Red Alert 3 and Far Cry 2 for that price too :D

Annoyingly the CD Key was a duplicate so had to wait 4 days for Valve to sort it out!
 
I'd point all the new guys to the official thread. A lot of people signing up and playing. We need to get you all in the OcUK group and into some games :)

Well, its a source based game that involves killing zombies or humans (depending on your game), Teamwork and good fun.

The main thread about 7k posts and 150k views, which for an FPS game, speaks for itself really :D

A load of killing the undead, excellent teamwork skills, some jumpy bits and just generally a shed load of laffs and fun.

The sound effects in this game really are some of the best Ive heard and create an atmosphere that really is on the money.

There hasn't been a simpler game to just pick up and play like this for years imo.
