L4D Custom Maps

Not played L4D for 3-4 weeks since my gaming computer was down and now that I've started there seems to be a different menu for selecting maps.

Is there a custom map pack download available?

Only map beyond the 4 included campaigns I have given a go is Death Aboard as that seems to be quite popular right about now. Just started getting back into playing this game as well since I played it for a few weeks at launch and all my friends moved on, meaning I abandoned it for quite a bit.

Cool no played L4D for a few weeks. Didnt know there was maps/campaigns out.

Quick question where do I install the files.

urm... not to sure of the specific local but if you look in the steam folder you should be able to negotiate a route to the folder.

I've downloaded a few map but the first was 122MB but a few were also around 2MB. Does that sound right?

i installed death aboard and now keep getting CTD's.

anyone aware of any problems? Updating drivers now so im just hoping that will fix my problem

just been playing back to school, superb level design and it is bloody tough on advanced however, its not fully complete yet, but well worth checking out

resident evil is an instesting map, you have to complete 'puzzles'

e.g. first puzzle is finding that medallion thing for the statue in the main lobby area HAVE FUN


EDIT: ok i cant find the site but you need to look for 'Resident Evil RPD' or 'residentevil_rpd.vpk' as the file
