L4D disconnect problem

Anyone help with this as its starting to get on my ****

If I join a lobby in L4D everything is fine and rarely dc's, however if I join a game that is in progress every time it dc's after a few seconds

I've tried

Verify game cache
deleting both .blob files from steam directory
reinstalling L4D

Still the same

Any other suggestions welcome

nvm, fixed it now it seams

Just deleted the .blob files for a second time and now doesnt dc from public servers
