Been playing the demo a lot the past two days and started going for expert games today. Obviously you need a good team to do it on expert, but that is a difficult task in itself.

Time after time get stuck with ridiculous players.

Some people start the game with a player slot not filled and thus a bot is accompanying us.
One person had a broken mic which gave off major static even when he wasn't talking which caused us to leave.
Other people continually shoot you in the back.
Loads of people try to play hero and end up wasting medkits and pull in sticky areas/times.
The last game I had, one guy got off the boat and immediately started hitting infected with a guitar and got swarmed wasting a kit straight away and taking the rest of us down to a poor health situation.
One person threw a molotov right on me causing me to die.

Seriously, what does it take to find a decent team.

I've actually joined the group and got the server running the demo added - nobodys on it - but i will add some people now

Also, add a few people from the L4D Steam Names Thread, especially people like LinktoInsanity, Defrag, Kearney, Steve, Iceyhaj and Dingelberry (to name but a mere few).

Unfortunately playing with publics can be an extremely frustrating experience but the friends only games with the people from here can be great craic indeed.

This is the biggest issue in L4D, bad players. I tend to sit there and count how much dmg my own team has done to me in a map (I crouch, and try not to run in front of people) and how often some idiot jumps in front of me shooting.

This demo is even worse due to the amount of idiots playing and thinking they are cool with a machete (I use it instead of single pistol, but dualies or magnum is >) and end up running most of the way across the map to get an SI off when they could just blast a shotty or something
