La Noire won't launch

Just got my copy of La Noire today on disk and installed fine,when i come to launch the game nothing happens,i read steam has had a few problems with launching the game aswell,any advice fellas

Sounds silly, but have you tried launching the game from the game's folder within steam, rather than the steam shortcut? This is the only way I can get GTA4 to run...

When a game doesn't launch via Steam verifying files usually fixes it.

Another thing to try is running Steam with admin rights.

Sorry fellas,my version is retail disk,none steam,does this game use rockstars social hub app,as it says it installs it,but when i log in there is no la noire there,all my other games installed over 100 all work.

Got it working,i have three hard drives,i tend to put all my games on the 1TB one,like this one,so i decided to try it on a smaller main drive that my windows is on,works a treat now,the 1TB is fine though as i have 400 gigs worth of games on there that installed and run perfectly.
