Actually I'm sat in hospital unable to sleep whilst my wife is trying to rest between 5 min contractions. It's either this or read a book and I can't do that in the dark.

Damn right it does: from waters breaking on Wednesday to the delivery of a baby girl at 17.59 today. 5 weeks early, so bit of a panic on, but all are healthy and happy.

I'm about to open a beer and enjoy it greatly.

It is indeed and right now I couldn't be happier, just with mother and baby were home and not still in hospital.
