lacie 500gb usb (this week only)

Hi,

just noticed this drive on offer this week at a greatly reduced price.

My mate wants me to get him a 500gb usb disk and this one really caught my eye. Anyone have one of these? What is the general opinion on lacie? I think they use Seagate disks so it should be ok.

ive got lots of lacie discs here, there all running ok, the only issue ive had with them has been one power supply going ( transformer) and a quick call to lacie sorted it out , there a lot quieter than my my book as well
plus i bought mine six months ago for over 150 quid so that's a bargin
