Ladbrokes - Pronunciation

Laughed at my brother for pronouncing it "Ladbrooks", however that seems to be quite commonplace in England... I've always said "Ladbrokes", pronouncing broke as it is spelled.

How do the rest of you pronounce it?

I'd say 'Lad-brooks', although I dont claim that its the correct pronounciation.

Funny story, my mum was area machines manager at one point, so while at uni she came down to visit me and we met in the strand. Little did I know she was with the regional director, who we had dinner with (sound bloke) and him and a couple others got trashed
