Laughed at my brother for pronouncing it "Ladbrooks", however that seems to be quite commonplace in England... I've always said "Ladbrokes", pronouncing broke as it is spelled.

How do the rest of you pronounce it?

Lad-brooks. I work there, and that's what me and my colleagues say.

Funny story, my mum was area machines manager at one point, so while at uni she came down to visit me and we met in the strand. Little did I know she was with the regional director, who we had dinner with (sound bloke) and him and a couple others got trashed :D

That's the worst story I have ever heard Shayper.

And for the thread it's 'Lad-brooks'.

It's Ladbrooks, it's Ladbrooks in all of their adverts, it's Ladbrooks, you're stupid, your brother is right, get over it.

I was always under the impression it was "Lad-Brooks" thats how I hear everyone say it, never heard it being called "Lad-Brokes" before
