Ladies and Gentlemen, i give you the most advanced mouse mat known to man...

Step 1. Go to ASDA
Step 2. Locate "ASDA Smart Price Place Mat"

Said place mat is 40cm by 30cm, and while normally it would be used to prevent food from being spilled onto a table during the consuming of various yummy foods, said place mat is also a very damn fine mouse mat.

Step 3. Get it bought.

Price ? A whopping 49 pence.

Step 4. Add blu-tac, to prevent sliding.

Step 5. Enjoy your new Mouse Mat. Using one here with an MX-1000, very good.

ok...without sounding reasonably thick...how exactly did you make it? I've just been to wilkos and didn't find anything like whats in your pic.

help please...

Im using a bog-standard £3.99 MS Whell Mouse that I have had for quite a few years and its on my desk with no pad.

Its been the most acurate mouse I have ever had, never missed a beat but unfortunately the sliding pads do get clogged up now and then, but thats why they invented finger nails... To scrape the crud off!

Job done.

I'm using an old A4 envelope folded in two. Works a treat and is also useful for taking down notes. Probably not a good thing that I've got half my passwords written on it. Also all my bios settings attempts are scribbled all over it along with random calculations i needed to do. Best mousepad ever.

My desk has black vinyl inset over most of its surface an this works perfectly as a mouse mat for optical or 'balled'. I prefer to use a Wacom tablet for most things but the mouse wheel is better for scrolling when reading long documents.

Beh, lol.

I see you getto mouse mat and raise you a q-pad-
