Her new song 'Love me or hate me' is absolutely mint, the lyrics are pure chav genius and she's got a right attitude.

Never had my nails done.
Bite them down until they're numb.
I'm the one with the non-existent bum,
Now I dont really give a....Ugh!
I'm late for my shepherd's pie
Like a high maintenance chick missin' her diamonds.
I'm missin' my clippers size.
Now bow down to your royal highness.
No I dont own a corgi,
Had a hamster, it died cuz I ignored it.
Go on then, go on report me,
I'm English, try and deport me!

love the last line, what do you think? next number 1? :p

... is the biggest pile of pap I heard in a long time.
Well, I lie, the charts are full of this rubbish, but the reason I hate her that extra little bit, is because they filmed her music video (i think for this song) right in front of our office, a few months ago.
They kept on playing 10 seconds of the song over and over and over the entire friggin day.

It isn't awesome, she sounds like any other chav round here :/ Only difference is she has a record deal.

Meaningless crap which I will no doubt have to endure on the bus from the little sod's mobiles, why did they put loud speakers in the bloody things!?

I'm not a fan tbh. I don't like her voice at all and the lyrics aren't very good either. Some don't even rhyme properly and I think that's when rap can be a talent.

I dont like her past music...I doubt this will go down well. I dont understand how she is gathering buzz in the states side. She was even featured in the last XXL hiphop magazine i bought.

She also calls herself "the shortest midget in the game" or something like that...

At just nineteen, pint-sized Londoner Lady Sovereign has all the makings of the next hip-hop superstar..She sneaks nursery rhymes into haughty boast-raps and melds hyper, big-bottomed beats with dancehall, drum-and-bass and..her clever, barb-infested flow. Rolling Stone magazine

I dont understand, i thought rolling stone magazine is suppose to be one of the best in the world...

Maybe if she was black you'd give her a different reception ;)

Maybe if she had a slightly less annoying voice and a greater lyrical ability... i'd give her a different reception.

I like lady sovereign, and I like the ordinary boys, and I really love the collaborations they've done.

I preferred the Odrinary Boys remix of "9 to 5" as opposed to the single that was released later as "The Odinary Boys vs Lady Sovereign".
I also really like her mix of "Boys will be Boys" (Girls will be Girls).
