Lag on 2nd monitor when switch input to xbox on on 1st screen?

hi all,

just got a question which i cant find a solution anywhere on google for

I have 2 monitors on my pc and when i switch input to go over to playing on Xbox and then say put a movie on other screen it goes into instant lag with the cursor and the movie all lagging every 4 secs! not sure why this is as i have had the same setup for ages all of a sudden went like this.

i have searched everywhere for an answer and i cant find a fix

.all i did was change from an r9 280x g card to new Rx580

What is the framerate of the two monitors?

You could try unplugging the monitor when you switch to Xbox and see what happens.

thanks for the reply, they both at 59hz

Samsung SyncMaster SA350 21.5 inch
Samsung S23A700 23" Full HD 1080p 120 Hz 3D (main)

tried unplugging but still same thing happens

still the same

even when i turn off my main monitor, the 2nd still lags the same but then is fine once i turn it on, so switch input to xbox the 2nd lags or turn it off and it lags. and i cant work out why at all

Do you get the lag if you swap the screens around, so putting hte xbox on your 2nd screen playing a movie on your 1st screen?
