Lag

Every 5-10 minutes i get a lag spike lasting for about 5 minutes, it happens on all my games, my pc can handle the games as i used to be able to run them fine, and on max settings.

I don't think it is anything to do with my web connection as it also happens when playing offline play.

Any suggestions?

I have a password on my network, only 2 other people use it.

Not too sure on that one, but my download speeds are okay they are around 500-700kbs.

I doubt it, the person who mainly goes on it just goes on social networking sites and the other person barely uses it.

Where's your router from? (wireless box thingy).

The ones ISP give free are often terrible and really **** up games when more than one personal (or specific engines) are in use.

We didn't get ours for free, we bought it for around £70.
