Right guys im after either of the above pumps for my new setup, which would be better ?

Also they are very expensive these days i remember picking up cheap pumps all the time, now even ebay are expensive. :(

A res of some sort, XSPC RX120.1, RX120.3 or 4 mounted outside of the case on a stand, XSPC delta v3, a full cover waterblock for my 480 and maybe full motherboard blockset for my R3E.

Yeah how restrictive is your loop? The 18W DDC actualy has more head pressure if you use it with a top or directly attached reservoir on it.

Another interesting option are the EK DCP range (400lph and 800lph) I've just got the 800lph and it is one powerful pump! They have a pretty good rep for reliability as well and are a fraction of the Laing price range.

What pumps are those you speak of biffa ? If i am going dual DDC's i will get a XSPC dualbay res to house them.

I've got the old XSPC dualbay res, its a nice bit of kit and very handy, mines not got the sepatators in the res part thou its just all one big res.

The EK pumps, just search for "12V EK-DCP" and you should find them. They also do one that has a res attached. But these pumps are not like the DDC or D5 in shape so don't fit any bayres that I know of.

Yeah that the res im after, i dont want 2 loops just the one loop using 2 pumps :D

If you can't get hold of the old Dual bay res with the single reservoir let me know as I'll probably be selling mine to get the split res version now (I know, I know!)

All I need now is rjkoneill to sort out my order for my other rig and I'll be busy for nights to come! :)

right guys i have 2m of tygon 3606 1/2" tubing and am wondering if it is better to used normal barbs and get some 7/16" tubing or just get some compression fittings ?

Will tube sizing affect temps at all ?

Can't remember where I read it but with high head pressure your better off with compressions as hose can pop off a barb. Not to say it will just it's more likely than if using compressions. Not sure if this is fact though others may be able to comment. Tube size makes practically no difference to temperatures so go with what you have or like the look of.
