Laing DDC Ultra

Hi, guys!

What is Laing DDC Ultra pump's normal operational temperature? Mine is so that I can bearly hold my hand on it. Is it how it is supposed to be?

Yes that's normal, personally I prefer to have a fan blowing over it just to keep it a bit cool.

i'm in the same boat as jokester, with their iffy reputation it's worth it and mine's been fine for well over a year now running 24/7.

Thanks! I mounted the pump into 5.25 bay and subsiquently have no ability to stick a fan anywhere near. I will get a radiator insted and attach it to the pump. It should make it a little cooler.

wait. youve got a pump but no means to cool the water? i thought the whole point of water cooling was the radiator to cool the water?

I would assume he means heatsink, I've seen it done

It is just that pump runs hot itself.

Scythe Kama Bay. Fills three 5¼" bays with a 120mm fan.

Would love to install it, but have no single 5¼" bay left. One for Blu-Ray, one for card reader and 3 for pump. 5 in total.
