Lair IGN review

Did a search and was surprised it wasn't posted.

Doesn't sound good!

I wasn't particularly looking forward to this anyway, I always thought it looked like it could get quickly boring.

Nevertheless, just because IGN mark it down, doesn't mean it's going to be that bad ;)

You could read the IGN readers reviews/responses to see that ;)

V1N.

Well most of the posts from readers are just rubbish, but there was a couple which seemed to have been wrote by intelligent people giving Lair a score between 7/8 which seems fair?

Anyway my copy should be with me next week. After the reviews I was going to stick it straight on to ebay and get my money back but now I think I'll give a shot before I get rid of it...

I'll post my thoughts if I can be bothered to progress further than 10 mins into the game.

Bioshock is boring!

And I don't think Lair has been classed as a "Great Game" on the PS3, whoever told you that needs there head sorting out, it did sound great on paper but once I saw the videos it put me right off.

The difference between Bioshock and Lair is that one is liked by the majority and the other isn't (it's funny how those slating Bioshock own only PS3s) ;) It's the first time I've seen a game where the controls alone has killed it. I hope it sends a message to other developers that the sixaxis feature is not the way to go. Warhawk being a showcase for the sixaxis only to have them turned off by default on retail release speaks volumes about developer attitudes and confidence in the control system.

I'm not slating Bioshock beacuse its on a certain platform, I've played it on my PC which ran it great on max settings.

I'm slating it cause I found it just another boring overated FPS. Fantastic Graphics but boring.

Has nothing to do with me having a PS3 matey.

And Lair just looks terribly boring also (haven't played it so can't say for sure) even if it had brilliant controls, still looks boring as hell.

Spot on

For the record the 360 has plenty of great games, Crackdown IMO has to be one of them (spent hours just collecting orbs). Unfortunately for me Bioshock isn't one the them, can't see Halo being another, where as Mass Effect should/could and more than likely will be :)
