Managed to pick up a couple of lamb neck fillets in the whoops'y section of the local supermarket (0.95p down from £7.50, bargain).

Having never had lamb neck fillet before i'm wondering if anyone on here has done and if so how did they cook it?

I've done a quick Google and a lot of recipes talk about making it into a curry or similar but I'm quite fancying the slow cooker route with it.

There's 2 neck fillets, so enough for one each (if it doesn't shrink too much when cooked!)

Treat it like any other tough cut (e.g. pork shoulder, brisket, etc). They're perfect for the slow cooker. Some kind of stew with dumplings would be great, or a tagine.
