I went to see this not expecting...well anything much at all to be honest. I think Russell Brand is a bit of a ****, and it looked average from the trailers.

I have to say i was very wrong, and it is one of the funniest films i have seen in years, i preferred this to other recent films like Superbad by miles.

Seriously, if you haven't checked it out yet, take the misses' or a group of mates. Everyone that we went with loved it.

Anyone else seen it yet? What did you think of it?
 
Are you Gentlemen forgetting the lovely Mila Kunis?

In fact after you've seen this film i defy to to disagree when i say Mila Kunis > Kristen Bell.

I too thought oh dear, chick flick when i went to see it with my female flatmates, but no me and my mate were in absolute stitches, i think we enjoyed it more than the girls.

Expect lots of sexual innuendo and actual funny jokes/puns/plays on words, rather than "Look at me, I'm so random" stuff.

It very much is a chick flick, for men. As stupid as that sounds.

Go see it. (And the rather attractive leading ladies do help).

And i actually think Russell Brand is funny as hell, liked him even from his MTV days.

Hes got a brilliant use of the english language i reckon. Pretty clever bloke, and a total manwhore too, which i actually respect haha
 
Saw this the weekend & twas good film, & yes Mila Kunis is very worthy of a sex wee, simply stunning. Was shocked to discover when I looked her up on web that she voices Meg in family guy

I was thinking the same my friends didn't think she looked any different from her That 70s Show days. :confused:

I loved the film I laughed more than I did at the shark bit on Strange Wilderness [and I laughed A LOT at that].
Russell Brand is one of the people that can be really funny sometimes but really annoying the rest of the time, he played his part well imo.
 
Im gonna give this a deserved bump - just watched it again on DVD and its even better on the second watch - even watched all the extras...

Definitely one of my fav comedies...

Personally i cannot stand Brand, its not just since his recent incident, i just dont like his humour, but he was reasonable good in this film. I thought it was a little dragged out towards the end, but overall it was an alright watch.
