I just got one of these, my first fan controller, and I'm shocked at the build quality. At £38 for a 4 channel controller you'd expect a premium item. This might just be a dud but 2 knobs scrape when they turn past 60% and all the knobs have this slight wobble(but not loose) as you turn them, like the the part where it attaches to the base isn't perfectly flat.

Anyone else experienced this?

I've had one in my rig for about 6 months. I can't say I recognise scraping knobs. Mine still has a nice firm but smooth feel (oo er). Been really impressed with it, and the quality is first rate. The metal finish is really impressive for the price imo. Maybe you were unlucky with yours.

Just looked it up and the FC5v2 looks a stupid amount like the FC6. Mine doesnt scrape, but the knobs are a snug fit to the face. All mine wobble, but thats not a bad fit, thats just the little "poles" that the knobs are on moving. Imagine a lampost in the wind...top moves right?

Bad design/engineering really. Just expected more from a controller in this price range.

Close to 40 for a 4 channel, yes it is. Probably the most expensive one on the market at the moment. And tbh I wouldn't even expect knobs to wobble on a 10 quid controller. How hard can it be Lamptron? Surely it's not rocket science!
