I have just built myself a LAN computer and was wondering if I can insteam my games on it or should I have seperate copies?

Like I have steam, can I download it onto the lan and log on with my account?

Or Can I install WOW and use it on both computers?

Anyone recommend some good LAN games?

Thanks

yep you can put steam games on as many pcs as you want but can only play on/be logged into one at a time :)

dont; know about wow.

same with wow as steam, install it everywhere you want, but you can only have 1 login to your account at 1 time.

Thanks guys. Thats ok as I am the only one that would be using it. So I can only be on one computer at a time.

With wow, is there anyway of installing all the updates in one go.

Maybe install from disk then copy certain files from my main computer and paste over?

wow is a good game it doesnt need installing or reg updates. it sorts that when you run it. seriously just copy it all over and play

BAck to Wow install. I got it transfered over with the whole folder ok. Works fine.

But does anyone know what folder the updates go into when they come out? Dont particualrly want to transfer 11g each time.

I dont want to let it auto update as i use it on a dongle and has a limited download of only 1g. (Which it isnt my dongle lol)

you can simply copy and paste your steam folder too

then just run steam.exe and it'll install itself onto that machine :)
