Lan Gaming Help

Hi, iv been browsing the forums for a long time and decided to join, so hi to you all =).

im looking for some LAN games to play with 3 players, me, my dad, my brother and my girlfriend ( thou she only has a laptop so does not play often due to the obvious low spec). here are some we currently play

Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty
Call Of Duty UO
Call of Duty 2
Grid
Halo
Counter Strike Source
Team Fortress 2
Quake 3
Unreal Tornament 3

my dad and brother like war games ie.. CoD just wondering if there are any classics you guys would recomend for lan, wee all have decent computers ( 8800gts/x1950xt/8600gt all with C2D cpus,
also any thing a little different for FPS would be nice. thanks =)

hey, yea they are, but still quite fun =) is that Dawn Of War??

my dad dint like that said he didnt know what he was doin :rolleyes:

DoW would be a good one - can always add AI if needed.

The bots for CSS could offer some fun for a short period but not long really.

The older classics like DoD or Fire Arms if you can find copies are good fun but as said 4 players might seem a bit empty ... unless you can go online as well?

I would say some RTS action would be a decent idea though as FPS would get boring quickly (at least I would imagine so).

the problem is my dad has only recently started playing games and he loves the FPS's ( as its easy for him, DoD is a good idea i never thought of that, ( i even have it on my steam account ;). im looking forward for left for dead as hopefully a lan match of 4 would be perfect its just the games we are playing at the moment are like TOO said getting rather boring :P thanks to everyone so far
