I want to set up a LAA - LAN VPN between my home network and office network (both are peer to peer with majority of machines running Win 10 Home / Win 7) but don't want any of the computers on the office network to see my home computers / NAS / Printers etc?

Is it possible to put some kind of restriction in place with 2 Draytek 2860?

The reason for the VPN is so I can access network folders on my office network / networked CCTV systems and printers.

I used to have a LAN-to-LAN connection to a client from my 2920 to their 2830.

With 'Netbios Naming Packet' and 'Multicast via VPN' both blocked in the VPN settings there's no direct indication on either network that the connection is in place. The machines I needed to access all had static IPs so I didn't need to refer to them by name.

It was possible to connect to my machines from their end but they'd need to know:

  • that the connection existed
  • the IPs of my machines
  • the usernames and passwords for my machines
